Prior to tattooing, he was enlisted in the Army. Edgar was so humbled to serve his country at the age of 19 as a 12B Combat Engineer. In 2011, he deployed to RC South Afghanistan in the Kandahar Providence area where his unit conducted route clearance. This discipline and honor kept him in better mind set in anything he puts his vision to.
Today, Edgar has his own Studio in El Paso, TX. He wanted to give back to his clients. His goal with his studio was not only for it to be another shop but for it to be an experience. He has clients fly down from many parts of the country, so he always strives to make any client feel special and appreciated no matter from where they are from. He just wants to give more of himself.
Edgar is extremely humbled by the love and support he receives from his clients, fellow Veterans, family and friends. He continues to strive to become one of the best Tattoo artists around by not only his work alone, but by helping others and learning in the process. His entrepreneurial mindset has led him to open up more businesses that wrap around his passion which is fishing and clothing. Luna Baits and Luna Apparel Co. He spends his life dedicated to his businesses, tattooing, traveling the world and spending time with his family but most important being a better human every day and being the best possible father to his son.
The Logo is the centerpiece to the studio. It’s a very personal symbol for Edgar. It means Faith. The Triangle is the Trinity symbol which holds the meaning of “The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit”. Through everything Edgar has done God has been a huge part of his life. The anchor represents “Hope” which reminds him to always stay grounded and no matter the obstacles, we always get through them. The Moon. It symbolizes Luna, Edgar’s last name which means moon in Spanish. It represents him and what he believes in. To always strive for greatness no matter the odds and having the mentality to always have faith in God through anything we go through in life. Keeping the faith strong always and doing the right thing.
